Accounts I've managed...

Indiana University

Since beginning my time with Indiana University as their social media specialist, I have created content and done several analytic reports for the official IU accounts. In the first year since starting, our following has increased by over 59,000, with the highest increase on Instagram with a 23% increase. I have been able to increase the amount of Instagram stories and posts that we send to daily and find content to help support our partners while aligning with our strategy. I created the first-ever video analysis report, which looked at our video performance across all platforms. I also created our first-ever annual social media report looking at our overall performance from 2018 to 2019. With TikTok being a new platform, I was able to kickstart IU Bloomington's account and gained over 10,000 followers within nine months of having the account.

My internship with IU Communications involved helping facilitate and create content for IUPUI's social platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat). From August 2017-May 2018, IUPUI's Twitter followers increased by 22% while engagement increased by 112%. On Instagram, our followers increased by 17% and the number of engagements increased by 33%. I also used Facebook Business Manager and Ads Manager, which helped me gain knowledge of how to create, promote, and analyze ads on Facebook.

@iupuioteam

While a Student Coordinator, I created and launched the @iupuioteam Twitter and Instagram in March 2016. I wanted to create engagement between the members of the organization and incoming students.  I gained 320+ followers on Twitter and 650+ followers on Instagram over a 17-month period for @iupuioteam.

Once a month, we follow around a student to see the day in the life of a Hoosier. We send the story to promote, do live coverage all day, and end with a wrap-up video.

Live tweets, Snapchats, and Instagram story updates throughout the night when IUPUI students were honored at Indiana Pacers' basketball game.

To compile all orientation photos, videos, or tweets, students used #GoJags17 to engage with others at the program and see their content on the big screen with Tagboard.
